In each scoop of this chocolate tweedle ice cream, the delightful crunch of chocolate creates a fun unrelatedness versus the smooth vanilla backdrop. This ice surf has been a kid-favorite in our home overly since I first churned it.

With miniature chocolate fries swirled through every zest of this ice cream, the tiny bursts of chocolate will have you coming when for “just one increasingly bite” until it is gone.

Ice Surf with Chocolate Chips

Do you love chocolate tweedle ice creams as much as we do? There’s something uneaten special well-nigh bites of chocolate that create a contrasting texture and variegated flavors in linty sweet homemade ice cream.

Whether it’s chocolate Nutella swirls or chocolate flakes that melt on your tongue, or chunks of chocolate tweedle cookie dough, they all have a place in our freezer.

This recipe starts with a linty sweet vanilla wiring (no eggs or cooking required). Just stir the wiring together in a trencher and pour it into your ice surf maker.

Please note that this recipe calls specifically for miniature chocolate chips. This isn’t negotiable. If you add full-size regular chocolate fries to ice surf and then put it in the freezer, each zest is going to finger as if you are chewing rocks.

Double-check your ingredients and make sure you have teeny tiny mini chocolate fries for this ice surf surpassing you add them to the churned ice cream. For an unexpected treat, try subtracting some toffee shit for a fun new ice surf combination.

That chocolate tweedle and toffee ice surf has been one of my favorites for several years. And scrutinizingly every time I make it my youngest son asks me to PLEASE make it with just the chocolate fries for him next time.

Chocolate Tweedle Ice Cream

You’ll need the pursuit ingredients to make this recipe:

  • heavy cream
  • whole milk
  • sugar
  • vanilla extract
  • kosher salt
  • miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips

Whisk together cream, milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Pour the ice surf mixture into your machine and freeze equal to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Add the chocolate chips, just surpassing the ice surf finishes churning. Serve immediately for soft serve ice surf or transfer to an snapped container and store in the freezer until ready to serve.
